Tierra Environmental Services, incorporated in July 1993, is a San Diego, California based consulting firm specializing in the preparation and processing of environmental review documents pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Our experience comprises perparation and processing of the full range of environmntal documents including Environmental Assesments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) pursuant to NEPA, Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs), Negative Declarations (NDs) and Mitigated Negative Declarations (MNDs), Initial Studies, and other documentation pursuant to CEQA, and Joint documentation for projects to both NEPA and CEQA.

We  provide a full range of cultural resource studies in compliance with NEPA, NHPA, other Federal laws, and CEQA. We also specialize in projects that require Native American consultation and ethnographic, ethnohistoric, and historic research pursuant to Section 106 of the NHPA, including the identification and evaluation of Traditional Cultural Properties (TCPs) under the guidelines of National Register Buletin 38.
